Charlotte Marie Cable is an Anthropologist, Near-eastern archaeologist (specializing in southeast Arabia), mortuary and landscape analyst, heritage and international development specialist, Alaskan, and backyard adventurer. She is currently a post-doctoral research fellow co-leading the Saruq al-Hadid Archaeological Research Project, based out of the University of New England.

Bat Archaeological Project (American-Japanese Bat Archaeological Project)

In 2007, Charlotte did some amazing stuff --- you just wouldn't believe how vastly mind-bogglingly amazing she is. I'm truth-telling, for sure. Bat Archaeological Project (Oman), 2007+: excavation and survey in a World Heritage Site famous for its tombs, towers, and settlement. This included stints working for the government of Oman developing their regional office.

Saruq al-Hadid Archaeological Project (SHARP)

In late 2014, Charlotte started post-doctoral research based on excavations at Saruq al-Hadid (Dubai, UAE), 2015-2017*: A 3rd-1st mill. BCE embarrassment of riches within giant (1sq km?) sand dunes on the edge of the Empty Quarter. My work is to interpret this enigma and keep everyone sane.
